I first read about Spoonflower via Dress A Day back in June. Custom fabric sounds about like the coolest thing ever. The moment I read it my eyes wandered around my apartment with fun ideas for some of my patterns. Plus, dog print dog pants. Would I be crossing a line? Or only if I made the matching dress?
Sadly, my sewing skills are kind of lacking. I keep meaning to get back to some projects. I am all about finding new outlets for creativity (and, er, stress, anxiety, and ragey ex-boyfriend anger), but whenever I get busy, crafty time is the first to go.
Anyway, Spoonflower is still in beta so for now I’ll just watch the fun from the sidelines.
While we’re getting custom fabric, why not get custom shoes too! Imagine the fashion disasters I could make. Keds Studio (via hchamp) lets you personalize Keds with custom graphics. I seriously need a pair of macaron shoes.
